What is Thresholds of Transformation for Seekers & Searchers? (TTSS)
TTSS is an online multi-disciplinary transformative change process facilitated in group Gatherings by trained TTSS facilitators and Ritual Leaders. It offers an intentional way of exploring personal and relational transformation through the lens of Catholic/Christian eco-spirituality as articulated in Laudato Si’ and Laudate Deum.
TTSS offers spiritual enrichment amidst a world, church, and planet in crisis and transition. It explores practical skills and wisdom in navigating personal & professional relational challenges and nurtures meaningful relationships. TTSS fosters a deeper relationship and sense of belonging with God, others and all creation, which empowers ecological conversion and integral ecology.
What does TTSS involve?
It involves fifteen 2-hour group Gatherings held in-person or on Zoom, facilitated by a trained TTSS Group Coordinator and Ritual Leader. Each Gathering includes the communal viewing of inspiring online video presentations interspersed with:
TTSS offers flexible engagement in the 15 Gatherings over a 12-month subscription period. For example:
What are the TTSS Gathering Themes & Focus?
Stage 1: In the Beginning – Love at The Heart of the Creation
This first stage lays the foundations of the ecological spirituality of TTSS, which recognises the mystery of God’s love as the empowering and sustaining energy at the heart of all creation, and the Incarnational mystery as the Divine embrace of all life.
Stage 2: Personal Transformation
The journey of Stage 2 engages participants in a new way of seeing, listening, thinking, and responding from the heart, which fosters an integrated way of being and relating to self, others, and all creation. These Gatherings open one to a deeper connection with one’s own vulnerability, leading to greater empathy, tenderness, and compassion towards oneself and others.
Stage 3: Relational Transformation
This stage explores practical wisdom and skills for navigating conflict and tension. During this stage, participants explore the evolutionary Holon functions and polarity management, enabling participants to appreciate tension and conflict as a source of growth and transformation. Stage 3 also fosters a deeper consciousness and intentionality through an awareness of morphic resonance and its capacity to unite and transform. In all of this, participants are invited to embrace a worldview shaped by integral ecology, through deeper engagement in the vision and goals of Laudato Si’ and Laudate Deum within their personal and relational lives and ministry.
Stage 4: Ongoing Transformation
This final Gathering is an invitation to commit to ongoing transformation and to raising up the good in whatever one’s circumstances may be, by being one’s authentic self.
What personal outcomes might be expected from participating in TTSS?
What type of preparation and follow-up is expected for each Gathering?
TTSS is not a workshop or training program – It is a gradual, transformative journey that unfolds over time. The experience begins with a pre-Gathering reflection for individual use, designed to prepare participants for the first session. After this, no additional preparation is required between sessions.
However, for those who wish to explore the content more deeply, a rich selection of optional Bridging Resources is available. Leaders are fully supported with a comprehensive guidebook, Zoom-based training, and all necessary session materials, ensuring that preparation is straightforward and time-efficient.
